Chip And Dip Bowl
$45 and up
Our handturned Myrtlewood Bowls go through several steps before they ever reach our showroom. We get the wood either in log form or lumber, cut it into rounds and rough out the bowl so that it can dry more evenly in the kiln. It stays in the kiln for 2 to 3 months until it reaches a dryness suitable for finish turning. After the finish turning is done, then begins the sanding stage and finally an oil or sprayed finish is applied to the bowl. It is now ready to go home with you!
